There are three things I think are important about Aesop:
- He made stories and was wise.
- He learned to speak in code
- He got sold two times as a slave.
The two things I think are important about fables:
- That they teach lessons.
- That they live on forever.
I still wonder about:
- Did Ancient Greece invent any famous food?
Hi Justin,
I liked learning from your post what stood out to you about Aesop and fables.
I have a few collections of fables, and while some of them mention foods like bread, water, grapes and cheese and a few of them are about sharing meals (or not) with others none of them talk feature luscious foods. I wonder a typical meal was in Ancient Greece. That could be something to explore.
Thank for sharing your thoughts and idea.

Can I read some of the fables once school is back next year?
